Here's a sweet little collectors peice that has just appeared from Vans. This Collectors Box has been name "Vans. The Original Since 1966" and features a half pair of some of the most influentual shoes from the brand. At this stage i am unaware whether the box is for sale or is a gift pack. But its pretty clear that being limited only 500 peices, that this will be highly sought after.
EDIT: These are actually miniture versions. nawwwww.
Look here at the Nike Taipan Pack courtesy Sneaker Freaker. This pack features some awesome treatments and a colour pallete that is obviously suited as a winter release. Premium Snake and Action leathers used on all models. Featured here see the Stab, Court Force Lo and Court Force Hi.
The Hi model dissapointed me with the contrast stitch on the toe box and lower eystays. Also would have used a soft pebble embossed material.
Court Lo should have had the white action leather on the vamp for some better continuity to the quarters. But hey... i dont work for Nike.

Read this top rate interview from Jordan Chalifoux on Format Magazine.
ERIK - "In the past, we have always had problems with Australia. They are notorious for bootlegging and counterfeiting brands, due to the sticky trademark laws over there. It’s always the same story with the Aussies, they want the T-shirts extremely cheap, as well as being the exclusive distributor for that country, then on top of those demands they print extras on the side and sell them alongside the authentic tees they bought from us, which, by the way, they got for a low price.
I stopped selling to that entire country, a few years ago, because I got fed up with dealing with that type of gypsy mentality. I guess I should have expected no less from a country based entirely on a colony of convicted felons."
Over all .. an awesome guy with some great objective opinions on street art and design in the streetwear industry. Definately werth the read kids.
Kinda like gravy. it just makes everything better.

Ok Ok OK... come on guys.... what are you thinking?
Here's Bang and Olufsen new reason for entering the Portable (see the handle?) music arena. This device, no CD player or Internal harddrive or on board memory. it works solely on utilising SD cards. There's no display, no digital readout, or even a clock which means you pretty much have to remember everything on your card.
only $850 USD
I really dont know what to say.

Goats sacrificed to fix Nepal jet
A goat offering is a holy act for Hindu devotees
Nepal's state-run airline has confirmed that it sacrificed two goats to appease a Hindu god, following technical problems with one of its aircraft.
Nepal Airlines said the animals were slaughtered in front of the plane - a Boeing 757 - at Kathmandu airport.
The offering was made to Akash Bhairab, the Hindu god of sky protection, whose symbol is seen on the company's planes.
The airline said that after Sunday's ceremony the plane successfully completed a flight to Hong Kong.
"The snag in the plane has now been fixed and the aircraft has resumed its flights," senior airline official Raju KC was quoted as saying by Reuters.
Nepal Airlines has two Boeing aircraft in its fleet.
The persistent faults with one of the planes had led to the postponement of a number of flights in recent weeks.
The company has not said what the problem was, but reports in local media have blamed an electrical fault.

Ok So here it is kids... the first post for a long while... curse the Horse flu to death.
Here's a Tee i thought a few of you could relate to.
Look at him, galloping up in your face on top of a foil print shimmering sun, armed with his lap top, ready to create some freelance magic.
